The ninety minute written examination is “closed book” and consists of approximately 75 multiple choice questions. The performance exam, which is also "closed book," requires you to perform or describe all of the required procedures for the vertical down installation and the vertical overhead installation using both piston plug and retaining cap methods. Recertification is necessary every five years, and requires successful completion of both the written and performance examinations. Certification registration fees include the current ACI Study Guide, procedure review session, and written and performance exams. The suggested procedure review session consists of a power point presentation including video clips and general discussion followed by actual hands-on practice time with adhesive anchors. THIS IS NOT A TRAINING COURSE! |
