The Illinois Chapter of ACI is a non-profit organization with volunteer driven people whose membership includes over 250 architects, engineers, educators, manufactures, contractors, suppliers, and others with an interest in concrete. We share the mission with ACI National “to provide a comradeship in finding the best ways to do concrete work of all kinds and in spreading that knowledge.”
 
The local chapter hosts educational meetings in Chicago from September through April. Our dinner meetings are opportunities for members and non-members to network with others in the industry. We provide the local ACI certification programs on a regular bases and offer academic scholarships to students who are interested to pursue their career in the civil engineering community.
 
Our chapter was given the “Outstanding Chapter” award from ACI National; the highest award that can be given to any local chapter. We are proud of our accomplishment and could not have done it without our members. We look forward to receiving your membership application and seeing you at the next dinner meeting.

2013 Honors and Awards Program Nominations

ACI is still accepting nominations for the ACI Certification Award. Nominations must be submitted by May 31, 2013.
